Born in India and living in Freiburg, Germany. While growing up we were infused with the sense of competitiveness. We always had to do good; get good grades, get into good college /University and end up with a good job etc. After having finished my university, I thought only way to learn things was to travel, and the best way to travel was to get into research and pursue other interests that I loved, including Backpacking, hiking, sports. So my journey took me to Finland, US (multiple cities), Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and back to Germany for my studies and work. After having gotten my degree from Sweden in Pharmacology & Oncology and working in Cancer therapeutics areas, I thought only way to gratification and joy was get a ‘good job’. But, that wasn’t so! I realized after years of working that I was seeking “Something”, that “Something” which was not connected to my degrees/professional education, was something else! Which landed me under the fold of my Guru, Ananda Maa! The best thing that could have ever happened in my whole life span. Ananda Maa’s teachings, blessings and Grace has helped me stabilize my monkey mind and put me on this spiritual journey!
