My name is Tijana, but Ananda Ma calls me Janaki Devi, and I like it because it leads me to believe that my ancestry goes back to the wise king Janaka. I initiated and organized celebrations of International Peace Day in Novi Sad, Serbia, in 2011 and 2015, and the Women’s Conference in Belgrade, Serbia, in 2013 and 2015. I have a refined taste for beauty and harmony. Vastu architecture is my professional occupation. Meditation added a beautiful new dimension to the quality of my life. It is an invaluable source of love and higher consciousness for me. I became a Shakti Meditation Teacher in the summer of 2019. Soon after that, I moved to Thailand, where I now live with my husband. I took my first yoga class in 2004, and right from the beginning I could feel the integrating effects of yoga on both physical and subtle bodies. I was a sincere and dedicated student, and I was lucky to have brilliant teachers on my yoga path. In 2008, I began participating in Art of Living programs, where I learned more about pranayamas, meditation, and Vedic wisdom by attending advanced courses at international centers in Germany, North Carolina, the USA, and India.

Teacher Training History: I became an Art of Living teacher in 2010 after completing the teacher training program at the European AOL center in Bad Antogast, Germany. Since that time, I have organized and conducted, both alone and in teams, numerous courses for stress management based on yoga, kriya, and breathing techniques in Serbia and on the campus of Purdue University in Indiana, USA.
To be able to pass on the wisdom and retain the purity of the techniques I was teaching, I was attending two silence courses per year for my spiritual development and regular teacher refresher courses for the refinement of my teaching skills. A profound spiritual experience for me was a two-month Vedic wisdom course that happened in the Bangalore AOL ashram in India in 2013, where I was initiated into the Vedic tradition and, in a spontaneous way, I obliged to keep the knowledge of the Vedas alive.
Since I became a Shakti meditation teacher, most of my courses have been conducted online, which turned out to be a very pleasant and convenient experience for the participants since they could integrate meditation into their daily routine and environment from day one. I offer online follow-up sessions to my students every Sunday.
Professional association: I used to be a member of the Serbian and American Parachute Association until I found an immensely better and longer lasting way to stop the racing mind and stay high.
Hobby: I paint with friends every Wednesday.
