Nevena Nikolic

Nevena Nikolic, born in Valjevo. Graduated from the Academy of Music Arts (flutist) in Belgrade in 2008 with an average grade 9.69. As a graduate student, she started working as a flute teacher in Music schools in Užice and Valjevo, actively playing in several chamber ensembles when, after a few years of work, she became intensely interested in Eastern techniques of self-knowledge and self-realization. She has been volunteering for several years in the humanitarian organization Art of Living Serbia, giving introductory lectures on pranayama and various breathing and relaxation techniques. In 2015, she received a certificate for completing 200 hours of yoga teacher training at Alakhyog Yoga School, Rishikesh (India). In the same year, she attended a several-month silent retreat in Nedelišće (Croatia) where, after experiencing deep meditation and encountering the silence of her own self, she received a certificate and the blessing of her teacher Ananda Vdović to teach Vedic meditation.
Since the experience of the self and different realizations drastically changed her life, meditation becomes the backbone and focus of her activities.
She opens the first yoga studio in her hometown, actively holds courses and workshops of Vedic meditation in Belgrade and throughout the country and continues to be interested in other different techniques of healing and spiritual development. She completed the Reiki first degree and received a certificate for using the technique of timeline healing advanced level (healing unwanted, unpleasant experiences and their consequences on life through meditation).
Music, on the other hand, does not leave the sphere of her interest. She begins to study the healing sounds of Tibetan bowls and their therapeutic effect on a person. She finished an educational seminar on working with Tibetan bowls in Zagreb (Croatia), which enables her to work with her clients on an even wider spectrum.
As of 2018, she stopped working at the school and devoted herself completely to spreading the acquired knowledge and experience, teaching and, of course, improving, expanding and developing her own potential and talents.
